It is with deep sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Mackenlay “Dan” Daniel, who left us on 15 March 2026 at the Victorian Heart Hospital in Clayton, Victoria, after a short illness. Dan’s passing has left an immeasurable void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Dan was a dearly loved son to Tim and Viv, whose pride in him was evident throughout his life. He was a devoted and loving partner to Lea, sharing a bond built on care, loyalty, and companionship. As a brother to Squeak and Nikki, Dan was a constant source of support, laughter, and strength, and he held a special place within his family.
Above all, Dan was a proud and dedicated father to Skye, Keith, Cooper, Thomas, and Grace. His love for his children was unwavering, and he cherished every moment spent with them. He will always be remembered for his kindness, his warm spirit, and the deep love he showed to those closest to him.
Dan touched many lives with his generosity, humor, and genuine nature. He was someone who could bring comfort in difficult moments and joy in everyday life. The memories he created with family and friends will continue to live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
While his life was far too short, the impact he made will never be forgotten. Dan will be deeply missed, but forever remembered with love.
A Funeral Service to celebrate Dan’s life is currently being planned for Thursday, 26 March 2026. Further details will be shared with family and friends once they become available.
