It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Sebastian Joseph Ferrie Moffat, affectionately known as Sebbie, who died suddenly and unexpectedly on 23 February 2026, at just 18 months of age. Though his life was heartbreakingly brief, Sebbie brought immeasurable joy, love, and light to all who knew him, leaving a lasting imprint on the hearts of his family and friends.
Sebbie was the deeply loved son of Katie and Lawrie, who cherished every moment of his precious life. He was a cherished grandson to Allan, Susan, Liz, and the late Joe, and a dearly adored nephew to Danielle, Martin, Greg, and Joy. He was also a much-loved cousin to Noah, Alex, Maisie, and Brodie, whose lives he brightened in countless ways. Sebbie’s presence, though brief, radiated warmth and happiness, and his memory will continue to inspire love and closeness within his family.
A service to celebrate Sebbie’s life will be held at Dunblane Cathedral on Monday, 23 March, at 11 a.m., followed by interment at Dunblane Cemetery. Family and friends are warmly invited to attend and honor the joy he brought into the world, sharing in remembrance of his short but deeply meaningful life.
